Polvora, a perfect Trepat.

A lot of very strange things are written about the different grape varieties. Many people subscribe to a hierarchy whereby there are 'noble' varieties and others which are presumably not noble and yet more - the vast majority - which are sort of unworthy.

Clearly some grapes are better than others but that is a matter of taste and we suggest no one should impose their hierarchies on the rest of us. If we enjoy a great Trepat such as this one as much as a fine Bordeaux or Burgundy why should we feel uncomfortable about it?

We always like to remember what the great Vicente Todoli (cultivator of over 400 types of citrus fruit) said:

I love all grapes!
