What to drink with Aparagus

It's the Aparagus season again and as always, a major headache for wine drinkers. 'Grass'* has even been called No.1 enemy of wine.' Here's Slotovino's suggestion for this year.

Paul Reder's 2014 'Sauvagine' - a Grenache Blanc (75%) and Rolle (Vermentino) natural wine from the Languedoc.

 Sauvagine is on the dark side as far as colour is concerned and very savoury. It stands up to 'Sparrows' Grass'* very nicely. Get it from Paul Reder directly at Hautes Terres de Comberousse,
